www.patientstories.org.uk is a social enterprise which uses digital, broadcast and social media approaches to provoke debate about quality issues in healthcare.
It is run on a “non-profit” social enterprise basis, meaning that any surplus – after our costs – is re-invested to develop our work.
Murray Anderson-Wallace (via Anderson Wallace Ltd) provided the start-up funds to establish the website, make the first series of films and develop the learning resources. Anderson Wallace Ltd continues to provide financial support by covering some of the overheads and underwriting development costs.
Revenues from www.patientstories.org.uk are slowly growing as licensing agreements with NHS Trusts, Academic Institutions, learning and development networks and training and development companies develop.
