We are pleased to announce the imminent release of “The Last Time We Spoke” – a new drama short – which is built on extensive research with carer’s of people recovering from serious mental health problems. The film is a composite story based on the direct testimony of six families who have had poor experiences and has been described as an “honest acknowledgement” of the carer experience when things go wrong.
This powerful 23 minute drama is supported by interviews with healthcare professionals, a senior executive and a service user, who share their reactions to the issues raised by the film.
In the wake of his experiences of chairing the Public Inquiry of the failings at Mid Staffordshire Foundation Trust, Sir Robert Francis QC reflects on the crucial importance of patient and family experience in the evolution of healthcare delivery.
From September 2014, the film will be available to licence for education use, accompanied by facilitator guidance notes. We are also planning a short webinar to introduce the film and to talk about the learning from testing and use to date. To pre-register please email us info@andersonwallace.co.uk
